If you head back to Act 1, you can find equipment but then you will need to play through any subsequent acts to return to the one you selected using your code. You'll start with no equipment or gold, but you will have all stat and skill points appropriate for your level.
You'll start in the act noted above, at the character level indicated. Once you enter the code, click on Apply, launch the game, and begin playing using a new character of any class.
Add a space after the last quotation sign, then enter one of the following codes for the corresponding effects (be sure to include the '-' as part of the code or it won't work. In the box labeled 'Target', you should see a code in quotation marks.
Then, select Properties and click on the Shortcut tab. On the desktop, right-click the Diablo 2:LoD icon.
